We recommend letting your bank know that you will be traveling to Mexico City, this should limit the security alerts on your credit cards. There are many places to change money in the city, but there are also money changing stations in the airport and you can withdraw MXN pesos at an ATM.

Phone
Checking into your phone plans before traveling to Mexico City is also a good idea. There are many places with internet, but you will most likely want to have it available on your cel phone while navigating the city.

Weather
In September the weather in Mexico City is crisp and sunny, but can get chilly at night.
Packing layers is a great idea!

Safety
Crime rates in touristy areas are low. As in any other city, it is best to take precautions with valuables and attire. While it's fine to attend the wedding events dressed to the nines, we recommend dressing casual (but not in workout clothes) to go to local markets and general outings around the city.
